Lives are required to begin playing a level. You can have a maximum of five lives at a time and each life is renewed after 30 minutes. Lives can be lost if you do not successfully finish a level, but you can obtain more by requesting your Facebook friends to send them, earning Unlimited Lives from event rewards, or using Coins to buy them.
